The government has given a discount on the purchase of electric vehicles in the budget 2019. The GST Council has been asked to reduce GST on electric vehicles from 12 percent to 5 percent. Along with this, income tax exemption will also be available on interest up to Rs 1.50 lakh of loan taken for electric vehicle. Due to increasing discounts on electric vehicles, companies are busy launching new electric cars. Just now, Hyundai launched its first electric car corner. Let's know about such electric cars which are going to come in the market soon.

Hyundai's corner

Hyundai launched its electric car corner to Mangalwa. The specialty of the corner, priced at Rs 25 lakh, is that it can travel 452 km on a single charge. This car has been launched.

Mahindra will bring e2o Plus 

Mahindra may soon launch its own small electric car e2o Plus. It is believed that this Mahindra Electric eKUV100 can replace it. The Mahindra eKUV100 can be launched with an 18.5kWh battery. This car will give power of 41 PS and torque of 91 Nm. There are reports that this car will run 150 to 180 km once charged. It can cost 9 to 10 lakh rupees. 

Maruti's WagonR

Maruti Suzuki can bring the electrical version of the WagonR. Maruti showed its electrical version at the Global Mobility Summit in Delhi in the year 2018. It is believed that the electrical version of WagonR may come next year. The company is testing around 50 cars across the country. 

Tata Motors' Ultros 

Tata Motors showcased this car at the Geneva Motor Show 2019. Tata Motors can bring its electric version. Ultraz is a premium hatchback car. However, the company has not given much information about the technical details of this car. But it is believed that once charged, this car can run up to 250 km.  

MG

Motors is preparing to launch its second car after MG eZS electric MG Hector. It is believed that it may bring the new electric car MG eZS. It may be launched by the end of this year. This car can run up to 350 km once charged. It will cost between 25 and 30 lakh rupees. 

Audi 

Recently this Audi electric car has been introduced in the country. It will be the first luxury SUV to be available for sale by the end of this year. There is not much information about the battery power of this car of Audi. Once charged here, 400 km will run.
