Thinking about setting up a home gym but feeling overwhelmed by all the options out there? Luckily, our team has tested a lot of fitness equipment this year, from gamified treadmills to smart technology gyms. We put together a list of the best at home fitness equipment brands to help you find the right fit for your space and budget.

Our team has been testing a huge range of products this year and what a gift to have a team because no one has space for all these different machines! This allowed us to work with different available space areas, and needs to really see what’s worth the price point.
We looked at some of the most common names in fitness equipment, but also explored others because as we all know sometimes you can get exceptional things just without the designer label.
The list below is designed to make that search easier. There’s something here for every space and every budget.
These aren’t listed in a particular order, just the brands we genuinely love and trust after hours of real-life testing.
Best at Home Fitness Equipment Brands of 2025
Nordictrack
NordicTrack is a leading industry player in exercise equipment, offering a diverse range of interactive machines that cater to both casual and serious cardio enthusiasts. This is thanks to their unique features, simple user interfaces, and dynamic workouts set in various locations.
The quality and technology are a big part of why they are often slightly higher in price point. They used to label machines as commercial, and although that designation has since been discontinued, the commercial quality remains in their most popular models.
If you’ve been here a while, you know that Amanda has used their treadmills for a very long time!
Price Range: $500 all the way to $15,000 (yes, they have a super high end top of the line treadmill)

Our Picks
- Price: $3299 watch for sales, they happen a few times a year (Right now $2,699)
- Speed: 14 MPH max speed
- Range: -3% decline to 12% incline
- 24″ inch Touchscreen that will pivot and tilt

Speediance
If you want an entire gym set up, but are not looking to have a bunch of hefty weights lying around, Speediance may be the perfect option for you.
It’s a full-body workout machine that can be used for cable workouts, barbell workouts, rowing, or as a ski erg. And talk about space-saving; it really has a very small footprint and would absolutely work well in many of the apartments or condos we’ve lived in previously!
Speediance utilizes a dual-motor drive system, making it better balance the weight between sides and make those minor adjustments. What’s really nice about the adjustments is that the machine is also going to track all your workouts and movements per body part, which better allows you to track progress.
Unlike many pieces on this list, Speediance doesn’t require a membership fee of any kind.
Depending on what you need, there are different packages available that can include various attachments and even a bench.
Price range: $2,250-$3,300
Our Picks
- Available on Amazon (Starting at $3,200)
- Available directly from Speediance (Bigger sale prices often shown here)
- Variety of models available to determine what features you need (i.e. do you want to use it for rowing)
- Definitely get the bluetooth ring if you’ll be lifting heavy
- Screen: 21.5 inches

Yesoul
Looking for Peloton-type equipment and workouts, but not looking to spend a lot of money? Your search ends here with Yesoul.
Yesoul is a relatively new addition to the home fitness equipment market, currently offering three versions of the upright spin bike, a recumbent bike, a treadmill, and a rower. They also have treadmills and rowers, which our team hasn’t tested out just yet.
Even with the lower price tag, the equipment is of really good quality, which we anticipate will last for a long time.
Price range: $299 – $600
Our Picks
- Price: $999.99 (on sale for $599.99)
- Resistance: 100 levels of magnetic resistance
- Bike dimensions: 54″L x 21″W x 57″ H
- Screen: 21.5” 1080P FHD screen that rotates 360° for off-bike workouts

BowFlex
BowfFex is your one-stop shop for your home gym. They have larger pieces of equipment, such as treadmills, bikes, and their iconic BowFlex Power Rod System. However, they also offer pieces of equipment for those with tiny spaces to work out in.
Good quality gym equipment at a relatively affordable price. If you look through their website, you’ll see that there is often a low- to mid-range price and then a high-range price. It all comes down to personal preference if you’re looking for all the bells and whistles or just the basics.
Price range: $150 – $3,000
Our Picks
- Price: Available for $429
- Each dumbbell can be adjusted from 5 to 52lbs
- Handle has rubber wrapped around to protect your hands and provide better grip
Bowflex 22
- Price: $2,799 currently on sale for $2,499
- Speed: 12 MPH top speed
- Range: -5% to 20% incline (one of the best ranges)
- Screen: 22 inch touchscreen
- If you buy direct from Bowflex, I always feel warm and fuzzy about the warranty. But also free shipping and a mat for under the treadmill.
Proform
Actually made by the same company as Nordictrack, so you can expect some similarities, though we often find the Nordictrack to be just a bit more upscale. However, it’s truly a good bang for your buck, especially since they have added many features, such as iFit.
In the past, ProForm was always considered the more “budget-friendly” version of NordicTrack, which means fewer features, yet a good product. But they are pretty quickly working their way up to being on par. They have everything from treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and rowers.
You can purchase equipment individually, or if you’re looking for a few pieces of cardio equipment, bundle them together at a cheaper price.
Price range: $799 – $3500
Our Picks
- Price: $1,999 on sale for $$1799
- Speed: 12 MPH max speed
- Range: -3% to 12% incline
- Screen: 22 inch touchscreen display that does not swivel
SOLE
Another one-stop shop for home gym essentials. They’ve got cardio equipment, strength training equipment, including dumbbell sets, barbells, and all the accessories you need. And the best part is that it’s all pretty reasonably priced.
Where SOLE really stands out compared to brands like NordicTrack or ProForm is that there’s no required membership fee. Everything you need on the more advanced models is already built in.
Plus, you’ll still get access to the SOLE+ app, along with the ability to stream Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Spotify.
Price range: $200 – $3200

Our Picks
- Price: Manufacturer’s list price is $3,299.99 USD. Currently on sale for $2,999.99
- Speed: 0.5-12 MPH (≈ 19.3 km/h)
- Range: 15% incline to -6% decline (that’s a bigger decline than most!)
- Screen: 21.5” Android touchscreen console

Tonal
Similar to Speediance, Tonal is a wall-mounted setup that automatically adjusts resistance based on your fitness level and goals, so you can progress safely without the guesswork (or the risk of lifting too heavy too soon).
It doesn’t take up as much space, making it ideal for smaller home gym spaces.
It also includes a built-in high-resolution camera that analyzes your movements and offers real-time coaching cues, plus post-workout clips for reviewing your form.
To start, there’s a 12-month required membership to use the equipment, which costs $59.95/month.
Price range: $2,999-$4,500
Our Picks
- Price: starting at $4,465 (currently on sale for $3,545)
- Personalized Weight: 5-250lbs
- Membership: required 12 months ($59.95/month)
- Built-in camera + mobile device for additional side angle
- Space needed: 7 ft of unobstructed wall space; 7 ft × 7 ft of floor space; 7 feet, 10 inches of ceiling height
- Full review in progress
Wahoo
Wahoo is best known in the cycling world for its indoor trainers, bike computers, and cycling accessories. But it recently grabbed our attention with the KICKR Run treadmill, designed to feel like you’re running outside, while still giving you the comfort of training at home.
It’s definitely on the higher end of the price range, but after running on it for the last six months or so, we have to admit we’ve kinda fallen in love with it.
If you’re a triathlete, cyclist, or runner who’s willing to invest a little more in your setup, Wahoo’s technology is pretty hard to beat when it comes to at-home training.
The one drawback is that there’s no built-in screen. Yes, you can easily connect a laptop or TV, but there’s something nice about having an integrated screen that we’ve gotten used to with other brands.
Price range: $500-$7,000

Our Picks
- Price: Retails for $7,000 which includes the white glove home installation (currently on sale for $5,250)
- Speed: 15 MPH (4:00 min/mile)
- Range: -3% decline to 15% incline
- Side to side tilt
- RunFree Mode
- Screen: No touchscreen
Wahoo KICKR CORE 2
- Price: Available for $549.99
- 1800 Watt max power output
- Incline: 16% Max
- Decline: -10% Max
- Maximum Rider Weight: 250lb
- Super easy to set-up with your road bike to bring cross training indoors
- Connect via WiFi and Bluetooth to get the most of your data
- Once connected to the app or bike computer you can set the resistance to automatically change based on the program/route
We hope this list helps you to narrow down your home gym equipment shopping. If you have any further questions, check out our reviews or ask our team questions below.
