Strawberry Chia Jam
It is loaded with antioxidants and fiber, and is naturally low in calories. The tiny chia seeds are a storehouse of protein, omega-3 fats, and are an ideal substitute as thickener instead of sugar. Oranges: an optional ingredient, but it sure will add a zing to the recipe.
Servings 1 cup
Ingredients
- 2 cup strawberries
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 orange juice
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions

Place a medium pot over the flame.

Drop in the strawberries, orange zest, and orange juice in a pot.

Let it simmer and cook for 6-8 minutes.

Remove from the heat and mix in the chia seeds.

Drizzle honey for taste.

Let the mixture cool down and store in a glass jar for upto a week in the refrigerator.
